CALLING ALL T-SHIRTS USED OR NEW!!! April 26, 2007

…yes, you read it correctly!  I am looking for used/new t-shirts; all sizes but mostly L and XL.  Preferably ones without noticeable stains.  Perhaps you have an old Dead Head shirt or maybe you’ve been holding on to an old college shirt and need to get rid of it.  Send them to me!

I’m venturing out and starting a new project.  I’ll be attempting to deconstruct the shirts then reconstruct them into interesting accessories.  I’ll post my first one shortly

Yes, once again I have changed the theme for this blog.  I think I have adult ADD.  Would that make it AADD?

VA Tech. What I never noticed… April 18, 2007

I was on my way to Target in Leesburg, VA.  I travel that road many times; actually every weekday for 2 months of summer school drop off’s the last 2 years.  As I’m driving on route 7 I looked to my right, as I always do at a furniture store who’s name I can never remember.  I noticed they put up a VA Tech mini flag.  I just kept driving.  But then before I take the ramp that would take me to Target, I notice a little sign that read:

“Virginia Tech” then on the bottom, “Blacksbug” and then other locations on a sign above it  for this ramp.  I can’t remember what any of the other signs read.

It’s funny, I never noticed this sign EVER.  Not until today.  Funny…

A Rainy Saturday April 14, 2007

This morning we had a 9am soccer game!  Isabel did great although she and the girls did look a little sluggish.  I guess that’s what 5 months of winter cooped inside the house does!  They won 2-1 and Isabel almost scored except she was off sides.

Victoria had her soccer “game” this afternoon as well.  It rained as soon as we sat and got comfortable.  This year instead of having half her team playing in the mud; she had most of the girls picking flowers and giving them to me!!!  At least we know she’s a leader! ha ha ha!!

 Jordan has football clinics tomorrow but it may be canceled due to rain and SNOW!!!  That’s right, snow in April.  Got to love VA weather.
